Built on the proven CRF250R platform, the CRF250RX brings quick handling, lightweight precision, and competition-ready performance to the off-road world. Equipped with an 18-inch rear wheel, specially tuned power delivery, a larger fuel tank, and handguards, it’s ready to race everywhere from tight tree-lined trails to wide-open beaches. New for 2027, bold graphics with horizontal Honda and CRF logos, plus blue side number plates and rear fender, give it a unified Honda HRC racing tri-color look.
The CRF250R’s proven performance gives the enduro-ready CRF250RX a head start. Built to handle everything an enduro course throws at it, from gnarly climbs to tight, technical terrain. It features an 8L fuel tank for extended range, 21-inch/19-inch wheels with Dunlop™ AT81 tyres, and enduro-specific settings for the engine ECU and Showa suspension to broaden performance. Standard knuckle guards protect hands and levers, while an aluminium side stand tucks neatly away.
Features
Responsive Frame
A superior frame is crucial for excellent handling, and the chassis delivers. It's lightweight and responsive, with narrow main spars, and was designed with direct input from Team Honda HRC riders.
HRC Launch Control
The ECU’s special launch control program lets you select the mode, hold the throttle open, and release the clutch. Your bike then takes control, regulating power to the rear wheel based on available traction and turning it into a holeshot-seeking machine!
High-Volume Airbox
The airbox and air-cleaner element have a large surface area and high volume, designed to increase midrange power. Additionally, the air filter is easy to service.
Electric Starter
It's equipped with an effortless electric starter. Convenient and lightweight, it’s a huge deal if you need to restart a stalled bike in the heat of battle.
Single Exhaust
The bike uses a single-pipe header and a single muffler. It routes close to the center, and its light overall construction helps improve weight distribution.
Handguards
Whether you're ripping through dunes or hustling through some tight forest, handguards are absolutely necessary on a bike like this. That’s why it's equipped with them right from the factory.
Side Stand
Real enduro bikes need a sidestand, and we’ve given this bike a great one. We’ve tucked it in tight, so it’s out of the way on the trail.
Fuel Injection System
Tilting the fuel injector at a 60-degree angle sprays fuel directly towards the throttle butterfly, providing the engine with a denser and cooler fuel charge and increasing torque and power.
SHOWA Spring® Fork
Valved specifically for off-road riding, the 49mm Showa fork uses a conventional spring design with a 39mm piston and a 25mm rod. It is designed to give the rider a supple feel while still providing the hold-up needed to resist bottoming under heavy loads like big jumps, bumps, or ruts.
3-Level Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC)
Easily control your bike's traction with the left-side, handlebar-mounted button. It activates our Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) system, which offers three customizable traction control settings to optimize your power delivery based on available conditions or rider preference.
Nine-plate Clutch
It uses a nine-plate design to improve durability and hookup. That means less slip at peak horsepower, better torque transmission through the clutch pack, and improved durability.
Power up 250cc DOHC Engine
More direct airflow in and a straighter exhaust out improves slow-speed throttle feel and picks up mid-to-top-end acceleration and power past peak, while a thoughtfully designed crankshaft spins up faster.
